Not a good mood at all....
I figured I'd quickly write an entry while I have some desire to. I'm sure by the end of this week I'll be in no mood to since I plan on working 12 hour days for the next 3 days and then Friday I'll work who knows how long but hopefully I'll be off in time to play softball and then go to the bar afterwards. Then Saturday I have to wake up early to take my parents to the airport (yeah gotta be up before 7) and that night I have a Halloween party which hopefully will turn some things around in my life. Then Sunday is another Halloween party as well as more softball. But right now I am in a pretty bad mood. I don't even want to get into it here. 4 of my best friends know the deal and well no offense to anyone that doesn't know but that's where I'm leaving it at. I just know this week is really going to push me and be hard on me. One of the things missing from my life is really bothering me and I just have to get back to being okay with it not being there right now.
But anyway...what's better then softball + rain? Well it's what you get when you mix rain plus a bunch of dirt. Did someone say mud? Yep you got it. That was what we played in Sunday. God it was a lot of fun. Actually I was trying to stay somewhat clean until this one play at 3rd. Which by the way 3rd base had this nice big puddle of water by it which later when people ran by splashed up on me a bit. But this girl tagged up and my outfielder's throw was almost there to get her (just a little too low) and when she slid...well I got a nice shower in the face. I was like thanks. After that I didn't care and started to get into it. In fact I kind of dove for one ball and almost got it. But the best had to have been when one time I rounded 1st cause the ball was overthrown but the damn catcher was backing it up. It might have been since the 3rd basewoman kept overthrowing it and I looked back and was like damn. So I had to do a headfirst dive back to first. Now that might have been okay in just mud but 1st was just as bad if not a little worse then 3rd in terms of the water puddle mud. So my right side was just covered in wet mud. In fact I think I gained about 10 pounds after that and I was unfortunately out but it was fun. :) And I even managed to get some mud on my left pant leg too. I think my clothes had to go through the washer like 3 or 4 times and that was after I beat them in the shower a bit to try and get the dirt off a bit. But oh well...I'm done so I can get some sleep.
