Yep I'm still around even though I haven't updated in a while. Just been busy as hell this month with birthdays and parties and then with having to move stuff. Unfortunately even though this month has been full of celebrations (5 birthdays, St.Patty's Day) it was also a month of mourning. A great uncle of mine had passed away kind of unexpected too. He had gone into the hospital and I believe they had figured out that the one night he had had a small heart attack but he was doing fine after that. In fact he was set to be leaving the hospital in a few days. He would have been out before but they decided to keep him until they put a stint in rather then discharge him only for him to come back a few days later. It was a tough funeral for me but more because of having to see how much pain my mother was in. Seeing my family or close friends in pain just tears me apart because I want to be able to help them and not see them hurting and this was a time that there was nothing I could do. A few times I did what I could to get a little chuckle out of here even if it only lasted for a short time.
In the end I have to remind myself he's in a better place now and back with his wife who had passed away a few years ago. I ended up helping with the funeral. I did a reading at the church service which was a bit freaky because it was the same reading I had done for my great aunt (his wife). Then I also was a paul bearer for it. Yep a girl did it. I really felt honored to be one. It's hard to explain but when we walked next to the casket going into the church I almost felt like a guardian of my uncle. Well since then there has been a lot of furniture switching around. My grandmother got some of the stuff from his house and there was some stuff we got (like a computer desk and a chair). Then since my grandmother was getting his bedroom set my mom wanted my grandmother's bedroom set because it had been hers when she was younger. So you can see that this meant taking stuff from one house to another, then loading up stuff from the 2nd house to take to the 3rd house. And now stuff from the 3rd house is going to be loaded up and taking to a 4th house. Like my brother is taking my old desk and an old bedroom set since I'm getting a new bed as well. It's been a long month so far and I'll be glad when it's all over and done with.

Sorry of your uncle's passing. It's always hard to deal with a loss of anyone.
Good to see you still around!
