That sucked....

Had this nice long post written up and *poof* it's gone! STH! And I don't have the energy or desire to write it all again. Ugh! Let's see if I can try and remember some of what I wrote. Tonight I'm supposed to hit BW3 with some of my friends. Should be a good night as long as I stay in a good mood. Lately I've been stressed out or worn out...one of the 2. I can just feel it and it's not good. In fact Wednesday when I was out it hit me. Granted at that time I had been drinking for about 6 hours but still it wasn't good. I think I just got overtired and it just went from there. But anyway usually like on Wednesdays our group has a normal night out. Sometimes we hit this one bar before (Scalpers) and then Johnny Malloys for karaoke. It's a lot of fun. And yes I do sing songs. I'm okay with it. But anyway...since then I guess some other friends of mine have noticed I've been kind of quiet lately. Not too hard since they are used to me being hyper, goofy, silly and kind of the entertainment of the night. I tend to forget that some people haven't ever seen my quiet side so it's a lot more obvious to them when I'm bothered by something or not feeling right.

Anyway that's why this weekend I want to just relax. If the weather is okay I think I might just go to the beach and just enjoy the view for a while or do something that just is relaxing and I can kind of unwind. We'll see if that actually works out or not. Although I can't complain really about people noticing when I don't seem to be myself. I mean it shows they care and it beats no one noticing or giving a damn, right? LOL I think my other problem is I've got a lot on my mind...some important things that I'm really thinking over and trying to figure out what's best to do. So I think I'm just wearing myself out too much. But I'll get back on track.

I really hate that I lost the entry I had written before this one. It was better and wasn't me trying to remember what I had previously written. Oh well. Did I mention I sooo want to go back to Vegas?? And damn my brother because he's going next week for like 5 days! Then another one of my friends is going back this month! Right now I'm thinking that I may try to hit Vegas in like 6 to 8 months...like use my tax money towards it and just go have some fun. Anyone up for it? Let me know and we can plan out something. I'm serious cause I do want to go back especially now that I slightly know my way around it. LOL Oh well let me wrap this up and actually get back to work. TGIF!

More Vegas pics...

Me and the one lion cub (Jessie) at MGM.

Me at the luau at the Imperial Palace on Thursday night.

Teresa, me and Nicole on Friday night at the reunion.

Jerrod, me and Ryan at the reunion on Friday night. How ironic I wore school colors with my shirt. LOL

Vegas pics....

Just one view of the outside of New York New York. Plus you can see the coaster looping around the building.

I was just mostly going for a different view with the MGM lion on this one. I think it came out pretty cool.

Just a pic of Mirage at night.

Just a picture of Excalibur from the outside.

This was one of the nights when I was actually just walking down the street. I was heading towards Bellagio to see the fountain/light show there.

This is one of the shots from when I was up in the Eifel Tower at Paris Las Vegas. It's the side looking towards Aladin, NYNY, Excalibur, MGM, Mandalay Bay, Luxor and that way.

Been a while...Vegas recap....

So I'm back to update this sucker. There's too much to write about really. I mean I have the whole Vegas trip to recap and then softball and just life in general. I'll probably just stick to the Vegas recap for now and save the other stuff for later. Vegas was a blast. I flew in Wednesday afternoon and then left to come home on Sunday. Basically Sunday was spent either on the way to or from the airport, at the airport or on a plane from about 11:30 till midnight. By then I was beat and just ready to come home. I saw so much in the time I was there. I didn't get to see a lot of shows but that's because Thursday, Friday and Saturday night I had stuff going on. Thursday was the luau at Imperial Palace which was awesome. The food was good and it was just cool to see the Polyensian revue.

Anyway Wednesday I mostly just checked out the city and figured out how to get around there. I did gamble a little on the slot machines. On the video poker I spent about $35 on some slots and won over $100, but ended up gambling it away. Damn me for not cashing out! LOL I ended up going to New York New York and riding the coaster there. I saw a bit of MGM and went to the M&M Factory because I was on a mission to find a certain souvernir that my mom wanted. I took care of that and just walked around some more. I rode around on the monorail a bit because it really gives you a good view of the city. Then I just kept walking around. Wore myself out a bit and then I got a hold of my one friend Bri since her, her husband, her sister and her mother were all out there as well. It was kind of ironic that we were both going to Vegas around the same time. So that first night I met up with all 4 of them for dinner and just to hang out a bit. We hit the NASCAR Cafe at Sahara and then 3 of us rode the NASCAR Speed coaster there. Talk about a pretty awesome ride. After that we played in the casino a bit and then I headed back to the hotel. Got back just in time to meet up with Teresa and her husband Frank since they got in early. I think that night I finally crashed about 4:30 or so and that was after being up since 6.

And damn this thing for just erasing almost all I wrote!!! Ugh...okay back to recapping. Thursday I did some more site seeing. I hit the MGM to see the lions as well as get my picture with a lion cub. I also hit Sigfred and Roy's Secret Garden but I wasn't that impressed with it. After that I saw the show of Atlantis at the Forum's at Caesar's Palace which was pretty cool for a free show. Then it was off to the luau with Frank and Teresa. Which it was really cool to see the luau and the Polyensian revue. After that I ended up meeting back up with Teresa and Frank and we all ended up seeing the light show at Freemont Street. It was definitely odd yet cool to see the casinos that started it all. Back when it was more about the gambling and less about the attractions/clubs and other stuff with the casino. The show itself was pretty cool. On the way back to the hotel we saw the volcano errupting a bit at Mirage. I ended up once more checking out the whole city.

I forget if it was Thursday or Friday but one of those days I ended up going up the Eifel Tower at Paris Las Vegas which was cool. By the way I hate heights but at the same time I love them. Crazy, huh? The view from up there was incredible. I can only imagine what it looks like at night. I ended up spending some time at this bar I passed earlier in the day. It's called the Carnival something. It's one of Harrah's bars. It was such a blast. The bartenders were complete characters with flipping the bottles around and just putting on a show for the customers. I got just a little bit buzzed there. Okay I got a lot buzzed! I probably drank 1/3 to a half of a bottle of vodka there in about an hour. Then I had some sex on the beaches at the reunion. And let's just say those were mostly alcohol. By the time I left the reunion I was pretty much trashed. Some other people wanted to just chill in the hotel room. I ended up back at the Carnival to dance and party. I mean afterall...it's Vegas! It was cool Friday though to see people I hadn't seen in years like Robin, Shana, Rian, Mrs.Miliam, and all the others. Plus I met some new people. It always helps when I'm buzzed and in the mood to be goofy. I spent most of the reunion talking to Teresa, Frank, Jarrod, Ryan, Kori, Nicole and Nicole's husband. Oops I forgot his name. Let's just say I had a good time but I don't remember going back to my hotel room or anything else really.

Saturday I spent most of the day in bed because of being hungover so much. Finally I got up and hit Toby Keith's Bar and Grille and got a free shot. Hey I can't turn down a free shot. It was still another good time. Afterwards me, Jarrod, Kori, Kristen, Jimmie and Ryan ended up hitting Club Rio. Wow is all I can say about that. Definitely was beyond any club I've been to before. Then Kori, Jarrod and I came back to the Imperial Palace and gambled a little and just hung out. Then Sunday I hit the auto collection and worked on leaving the hotel. Which by the way I will NEVER check out on a Sunday again! It's a complete zoo and just insane!!! And yes I will post pictures as soon as I can from my trip. Plus I'll try to update as well.
